     Hon. Hugh Leslie Courtenay was born on 1 August 1852.² He was the son of Reverend Henry Hugh Courtenay, 13th Earl of Devon and Lady Anna Maria Leslie.² He married Laura Georgina Courtenay, daughter of Major George Henry Courtenay and Laura Samuda, on 31 March 1880.¹ He and Laura Georgina Courtenay were divorced in 1884.¹ He died on 24 November 1907 at age 55.²
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)²

     Laura Georgina Courtenay was born on 26 April 1861.¹ She was the daughter of Major George Henry Courtenay and Laura Samuda.¹ She married, firstly, Hon. Hugh Leslie Courtenay, son of Reverend Henry Hugh Courtenay, 13th Earl of Devon and Lady Anna Maria Leslie, on 31 March 1880.¹ She and Hon. Hugh Leslie Courtenay were divorced in 1884.¹ She married, secondly, Reginald Latham Workman on 7 February 1885.¹ She died in 1947.¹
     From 31 March 1880, her married name became Courtenay. From 7 February 1885, her married name became Workman.

     Major George Henry Courtenay was born on 23 December 1814.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Thomas Peregrine Courtenay and Anne Wynell-Mayow.¹ He married Laura Samuda, daughter of David Samuda, on 22 September 1852.¹ He died on 2 January 1910 at age 95.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 60th Rifles.¹

     Laura Samuda was the daughter of David Samuda.¹ She married Major George Henry Courtenay, son of Rt. Hon. Thomas Peregrine Courtenay and Anne Wynell-Mayow, on 22 September 1852.¹ She died on 28 June 1892.¹
     Her married name became Courtenay.

     Lady Evelyn Frances Courtenay was born on 30 June 1908.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Frederick Leslie Courtenay, 16th Earl of Devon and Marguerite Silva.¹ She married Major Thomas Anstey, son of Major Alfred Anstey, on 17 October 1936.¹ She died in 1985.¹
     Her married name became Anstey.

     Lady Mary Elizabeth Courtenay was born on 15 January 1910.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Frederick Leslie Courtenay, 16th Earl of Devon and Marguerite Silva.¹ She died in 2000.¹
     She was registered as a State Registered Nurse (S.R.N.)¹ She was registered as a State Certified Midwife (S.C.M.)¹

     Lady Marguerite Kathleen Courtenay was born on 15 February 1911.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Frederick Leslie Courtenay, 16th Earl of Devon and Marguerite Silva.¹ She married Colonel Eugene St. John Birnie, son of Cyril Montague Birnie, on 22 November 1933.¹ She died on 21 November 2003 at age 92.²
     Lady Marguerite Kathleen Courtenay usually went by her middle name of Kathleen.¹ Her married name became Birnie.

     Lady Camilla Gabrielle Courtenay was born on 9 April 1913.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Frederick Leslie Courtenay, 16th Earl of Devon and Marguerite Silva.¹ She died on 26 June 2010 at age 97, unmarried.²
     Lady Camilla Gabrielle Courtenay usually went by her middle name of Gabrielle.¹ She lived in 2003 at The Briary, Exton, Devon, England^G.¹

     Lady Angela Leslie Courtenay was born on 7 September 1918.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Frederick Leslie Courtenay, 16th Earl of Devon and Marguerite Silva.¹ She married Harold Cecil Morton Horsley, son of Harold Richard Horsley, on 18 January 1947.¹ She died on 30 May 2008 at age 89 at Honiton, Devon, England^G.²
     Her married name became Horsley. She lived in 2003 at Marwood House, Offwell, Devon, England^G.¹

     Maud Courtenay was born circa 1445 at Boconnoc, Cornwall, England^G.² She is the daughter of Sir Hugh Courtenay and Margaret Carminow.¹ She married Sir John Arundell, son of Sir Thomas Arundell and Elizabeth Paulet.²
     Her married name became Arundell.² She was also known as Matilda Courtenay.²
