     Joan Eleanor Strutt was born on 13 October 1916.¹ She was the daughter of John James Strutt and Hon. Agnes Roger Dewar.¹ She died on 31 May 2006 at age 89, unmarried.²

     Captain Edward Jolliffe Strutt was born on 4 January 1884.² He was the son of Hon. Edward Gerald Strutt and Maria Louisa Tufnell.² He married Amelie Devas, daughter of Frederick Devas, on 7 November 1912.² He died on 24 May 1964 at age 80.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Battalion, Essex Regiment.²

     Amelie Devas was the daughter of Frederick Devas.¹ She married Captain Edward Jolliffe Strutt, son of Hon. Edward Gerald Strutt and Maria Louisa Tufnell, on 7 November 1912.¹ She died on 9 November 1954.¹
     Her married name became Strutt.

     Lt.-Col. Mark Frederick Strutt was born on 24 September 1913.² He was the son of Captain Edward Jolliffe Strutt and Amelie Devas.² He married Estelle Elaine Berney, daughter of Major Sir Thomas Reedham Berney, 10th Bt. and Estelle Irene Dawson, on 7 November 1946.¹ He died on 16 June 1982 at age 68.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.² He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Horse Artillery (Territorial Army.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was a chartered surveyor and land agent.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Essex in 1954.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.)² He was appointed Fellow, Chartered Auctioneers’ and Estate Agents’ Instittue (F.A.I.)² He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1970.²

     Estelle Elaine Berney was born in 1922.¹ She was the daughter of Major Sir Thomas Reedham Berney, 10th Bt. and Estelle Irene Dawson.¹ She married, firstly, Major Kenneth William Bols, son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Louis Jean Bols, on 25 September 1940.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Mark Frederick Strutt, son of Captain Edward Jolliffe Strutt and Amelie Devas, on 7 November 1946.¹ She died on 30 September 2016.²
     From 25 September 1940, her married name became Bols.¹ From 7 November 1946, her married name became Strutt.¹ She lived in 2003 at Crix, Hartfield, Peverel, Essex, England^G.¹

     Major Kenneth William Bols was born on 7 July 1913 at Camberly, Surrey, England.² He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Louis Jean Bols.¹ He married Estelle Elaine Berney, daughter of Major Sir Thomas Reedham Berney, 10th Bt. and Estelle Irene Dawson, on 25 September 1940.¹ He died on 19 July 1944 at age 31 at Anocona, Italy^G, from wounds received in action.^1,2
     He gained the rank of Major in the P.A.V.O., Indian Army.¹ He fought in the Second World War.

     Major Sir Thomas Reedham Berney, 10th Bt. was born on 6 July 1893.¹ He was the son of Captain Thomas Hugh Berney and Fridzwede Katherine Bell.² He married, firstly, Estelle Irene Dawson, daughter of R. Norton Dawson, on 23 August 1921.¹ He and Estelle Irene Dawson were divorced in 1927.¹ He married, secondly, Marjorie Agnew Erskine Gill, daughter of William Erskine Gill, on 25 July 1927.¹ He and Marjorie Agnew Erskine Gill were divorced in 1947.¹ He married, thirdly, Peggie Page, daughter of Howard M. Page, on 26 April 1947.¹ He died on 5 January 1975 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Berney, of Parkehall in Redham, co. Norfolk [E., 1620] on 27 February 1907.² He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1915 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment.¹ He graduated with a Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1919 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Southern Rhodesia between 1925 and 1926.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Lt.-Gen. Sir Louis Jean Bols married Augusta Blanche Strickland, daughter of Walter Cecil Strickland and Mary Blanche James, on 14 October 1897.¹ He died on 13 September 1930.
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)² He held the office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Bermuda.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)²

     Major Andrew Nevile David Bols was born on 24 April 1943.¹ He is the son of Major Kenneth William Bols and Estelle Elaine Berney.¹ He married, firstly, Sally Jane Aiken, daughter of Air Chief Marshal Sir John Alexander Carlisle Aiken and Pamela Jane Bartlett, on 22 May 1971.¹ He married, secondly, Anne Meade, daughter of John Arthur Meade, in 1980.¹
     He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was educated at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Blues and Royals.¹
