     Air Chief Marshal Sir John Alexander Carlisle Aiken was born on 22 December 1921.² He was the son of Thomas Leonard Aiken and Margaret Tannahill.² He married Pamela Jane Bartlett in 1948.² He died on 31 May 2005 at age 83.²
     He was educated at Birkenhead School, Birkenhead, Cheshire, England^G.² He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of officer in 1941 in the Royal Air Force.² He was Commander of the British Forces Near East.³ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1967.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1973.¹ He was Director General of Intelligence between 1978 and 1981.²

     Captain Nigel Frederick D’Ewes Burch is the son of Maj.-Gen. Frederick Whitmore Burch.¹ He married Erica Sarah Bols, daughter of Major Kenneth William Bols and Estelle Elaine Berney, on 23 April 1966.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹

     John Reedham Erskine Berney was born on 31 March 1929.¹ He was the son of Major Sir Thomas Reedham Berney, 10th Bt. and Marjorie Agnew Erskine Gill.¹ He married Hon. Jean Davina Stuart, daughter of James Gray Stuart, 1st Viscount Stuart of Findhorn and Lady Rachel Cavendish, on 27 July 1951.¹ He died on 24 July 1952 at age 23 at Korea^G, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at St. Andrew’s College, Grahamstown, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Norfolk Regiment.¹ He fought in the Korean War, where he was mentioned in despatches posthumously.¹

Jean Davina Stuart was born on 7 January 1932.² She is the daughter of James Gray Stuart, 1st Viscount Stuart of Findhorn and Lady Rachel Cavendish.^1,2 She married, firstly, John Reedham Erskine Berney, son of Major Sir Thomas Reedham Berney, 10th Bt. and Marjorie Agnew Erskine Gill, on 27 July 1951.¹ She married, secondly, Percy William Jesson, son of Lt.-Col. Harold Jesson, on 20 January 1954.² She married, thirdly, Michael Denison Ritchie in 1985.²
     From 27 July 1951, her married name became Berney.¹ From 20 January 1954, her married name became Jesson.² From 1985, her married name became Ritchie.² She lived in 2003 at Tannachie, Findhorn, Forres, Morayshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Elizabeth Anne Berney was born in 1927.¹ She is the daughter of Major Sir Thomas Reedham Berney, 10th Bt. and Marjorie Agnew Erskine Gill.¹ She married Allan Eustace Shepherd on 10 April 1952.¹
     From 10 April 1952, her married name became Shepherd.¹ Her marriage to Allan Eustace Shepherd was annulled in 1960.¹ She lived in 2003 at Claydon House, Clare Road, Hundon, Suffolk, England^G.¹
