Radnor [U.K.] on 22 September 1919.1 He was chairman of Court Line Ltd, Kia-Ora Ltd and Northern Securities Trust.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by University of Wales, Wales, in 1939.1 He was created 1st Baron Milford, of Llanstephan, co. Radnor [U.K.] on 2 February 1939.1
