He graduated from Queen’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1817 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Queen’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1820 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Vicar between 1832 and 1873 at Osmington, Dorset, England.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Philipps, of Picton Castle [E., 1621] on 12 February 1857.1
