     From 1965, her married name became Read.

     Elsie Trevor-Roper was born on 26 August 1913.¹ She is the daughter of Lennard Carew Trevor-Roper and Lisbeth Rankin Stein.¹ She married Hubert Barton Henderson, son of Dr. George Edward Walker Henderson and Beatrix Walker, on 5 December 1942.²
     Her married name became Henderson. She was in the Women’s Royal Naval Service during the Second World War.¹

     Hubert Barton Henderson was born in 1918.¹ He was the son of Dr. George Edward Walker Henderson and Beatrix Walker.¹ He married Elsie Trevor-Roper, daughter of Lennard Carew Trevor-Roper and Lisbeth Rankin Stein, on 5 December 1942.¹ He died in November 1955, by committing suicide.¹

     Dr. George Edward Walker Henderson was born circa 1870.¹ He married Beatrix Walker.¹ He died in 1947 at St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland^G.¹
     He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)² He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Surgeons of England (L.R.C.S.)²

     Stella Marian Henderson was born on 25 September 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Hubert Barton Henderson and Elsie Trevor-Roper.¹ She married Dennis James Aris, son of C. C. Aris, on 23 July 1966.¹
     From 23 July 1966, her married name became Aris.

     John Trevor Howard Henderson was born on 23 May 1947.¹ He is the son of Hubert Barton Henderson and Elsie Trevor-Roper.¹ He married Jennifer Kinanne Mackay, daughter of Wallace Stuart Mackay, on 1 November 1969.¹

     Hon. Anne Boteler was born in 1600.² She was the daughter of John Boteler, 1st Baron Boteler of Brantfield and Elizabeth Villiers.^1,3 She married Montjoy Blount, 1st Earl of Newport, son of Charles Blount, 1st Earl of Devonshire and Lady Penelope Devereux.³ She married Thomas Weston, 4th Earl of Portland, son of Richard Weston, 1st Earl of Portland and Frances Waldegrave, in 1667.⁴ She died in 1669.²
     After her marriage, Hon. Anne Boteler was styled as Countess of Newport. Her married name became Blount.³ From 1667, her married name became Weston.⁴

     John Boteler, 1st Baron Boteler of Brantfield was born circa 1566.² He was the son of Sir Henry Boteler and Catherine Waller.² He married Elizabeth Villiers, daughter of Sir George Villiers and Audrey Saunders, before 1609.² He died on 27 May 1637 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Covent Garden, London, England^G.² He was buried at Higham Gobion, Bedfordshire, England^G.² An inquest post mortem was held for his on 24 June 1637 at Chipping Barnet, Hertfordshire, England^G.² His will (dated 19 May 1637) was proven (by probate) on 29 November 1637.²
     He was appointed Knight in July 1607 at Greenwich, London, England^G.² He was created 1st Baronet Boteler [England] on 12 April 1620.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hertfordshire from 1625 to 1626.² He was created 1st Baron Boteler of Brantfield, co. Hertford [England] on 30 July 1628.² He lived at Brantfield, Hertfordshire, England^G.²

     Hubert Trevor-Roper was born on 5 December 1877.¹ He was the son of Dacre Trevor-Roper and Louisa Wanklyn.¹ He died on 13 June 1918 at age 40, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹
