Sir David Henry Hawley, 7th Bt. 
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Hawley, of Leybourne Grange, co. Kent [G.B., 1795] on 18 November 1923.1 He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1935 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945, where he became a POW.1 He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1949 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lincolnshire in 1952.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Land Agents’ Society (F.L.A.S.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1962.1

Henry Nicholas Hawley usually went by his middle name of Nicholas.2 He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Hawley, of Leybourne Grange, co. Kent [G.B., 1795] in 1988, although he does not use the title.2 He lived in 2003 at No Man’s Friend, New York, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 On his death his baronetcy became extinct.3
