     Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Babington was born on 3 November 1902.³ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir James Melville Babington and Eleanor Lawson.^4,5 He married Lady Anne Katherine Egerton, daughter of John Francis Granville Scrope Egerton, 4th Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Violet Lambton, on 8 April 1931.³ He died on 8 December 1956 at age 54.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 16th/5th Lancers.³

     Lady Jane Mary Egerton was born on 22 September 1909.³ She was the daughter of John Francis Granville Scrope Egerton, 4th Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Violet Lambton.¹ She married Richard Ladislas Scrope, son of Henry Aloysius Scrope and Maria Mercedes de Laski, on 7 February 1934.¹ She died on 27 July 1978 at age 68.^1,3
     Her married name became Scrope.

     Lady Mary Egerton was born in 1911. She is the daughter of John Francis Granville Scrope Egerton, 4th Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Violet Lambton.² She married Lt.-Col. Conyers Stephen Scrope, son of Stephen Francis Eustace Scrope, on 12 January 1945.
     Her married name became Scrope.

     Lady Susan Alice Egerton was born in 1913.¹ She was the daughter of John Francis Granville Scrope Egerton, 4th Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Violet Lambton.¹ She married Major John Majoribanks Askew, son of William Haggerstone Askew and Katherine Marjorie Strathearn Gordon, on 4 October 1933.¹ She and Major John Majoribanks Askew were divorced in 1966.¹ She died on 29 April 2010.²
     Her married name became Askew.

     Lady Margaret Egerton was born in 1918.³ She is the daughter of John Francis Granville Scrope Egerton, 4th Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Violet Lambton.³ She married Sir John Rupert Colville, son of Hon. George Charles Colville and Lady Helen Cynthia Crewe-Milnes, on 20 October 1948.¹
     She held the office of Lady-in-Waiting to HRH The Princess Elizabeth between 1946 and 1949.¹ Her married name became Colville. She held the office of Lady-in-Waiting to HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother between 1990 and 2002.¹ She was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1994.¹ She lived in 2003 at The Close, Broughton, Stockbridge, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Lady Alice Egerton was born in 1923.¹ She was the daughter of John Francis Granville Scrope Egerton, 4th Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Violet Lambton.¹ She died in 1977, by committing suicide.¹
     She held the office of Temporary Lady-in-Waiting to HRH Princess ELizabeth between 1949 and 1952.¹ She held the office of Woman of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.¹ She was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1957.¹

     Major Hon. Francis William George Egerton was born on 4 December 1874.¹ He was the son of Francis Charles Granville Egerton, 3rd Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Katherine Louisa Phipps.¹ He married Hilda Margaret Curteis, daughter of Reverend Canon George Herbert Curteis and Elizabeth Anna Ball, on 2 November 1897.¹ He died on 4 April 1948 at age 73.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Duke of Lancaster’s Own Yeomanry.¹

     Hon. Thomas Henry Frederick Egerton was born on 10 September 1876.² He was the son of Francis Charles Granville Egerton, 3rd Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Katherine Louisa Phipps.^1,2 He married Lady Bertha Anson, daughter of Thomas Francis Anson, 3rd Earl of Lichfield and Lady Mildred Coke, on 23 October 1902.¹ He died on 1 October 1953 at age 77.²

     Lady Bertha Anson was born on 22 August 1879.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Francis Anson, 3rd Earl of Lichfield and Lady Mildred Coke.¹ She married Hon. Thomas Henry Frederick Egerton, son of Francis Charles Granville Egerton, 3rd Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Katherine Louisa Phipps, on 23 October 1902.¹ She died on 30 August 1959 at age 80.¹
     Her married name became Egerton.

     Thomas Francis Anson, 3rd Earl of Lichfield was born on 31 January 1856.¹ He was the son of Thomas George Anson, 2nd Earl of Lichfield and Lady Harriett Georgiana Louisa Hamilton.¹ He married Lady Mildred Coke, daughter of Thomas William Coke, 2nd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Juliana Whitbread, on 5 November 1878.² He died on 29 July 1918 at age 62, following a shooting accident.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Anson, of Shugborough and Orgrave, co. Stafford [U.K., 1806] on 7 January 1892.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Lichfield, co. Stafford [U.K., 1831] on 7 January 1892.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Soberton, of Soberton, co. Southampton [U.K., 1806] on 7 January 1892.¹ He was a director of the National Provinical Bank.² He was a director of the Bank of Australia.² He was president of the Marylebone Cricket Club.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.²
