     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Guards.² He fought in the Second World War.² He was chairman of Anglo-Indonesian Plantations Ltd between 1964 and 1972.¹ He lived in 2003 at Mulroy, Carrigart, Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland.¹

     Violet Blanche Strutt was born on 21 July 1906.¹ She was the daughter of Robert John Strutt, 4th Baron Rayleigh of Terling Place and Lady Mary Hilda Clements.¹ She died on 11 May 1910 at age 3.¹

     Hon. Daphne Strutt was born on 5 November 1911.² She was the daughter of Robert John Strutt, 4th Baron Rayleigh of Terling Place and Lady Mary Hilda Clements.² She married John Emerich Henry Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 3rd Baron Acton of Aldenham, son of Richard Maximilian Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 2nd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Dorothy Lyon, on 25 November 1931.¹ She died on 18 February 2003 at age 91.³
     After her marriage, Hon. Daphne Strutt was styled as Baroness Acton of Aldenham on 25 November 1931. From 25 November 1931, her married name became Lyon-Dalberg-Acton.¹ She lived in 1999 at 46 Clarence Road, Moseley, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England^G.¹

     Lady Elizabeth Carnegie was the daughter of David Carnegie, 1st Earl of Southesk and Margaret Lindsay.¹ A contract for the marriage of Lady Elizabeth Carnegie and Sir Andrew Murray, 1st Lord Balvaird was signed on 30 April 1628.¹ She died after 19 March 1638/39.²
     From 30 April 1628, her married name became Murray.¹

     Richard Gerald Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 4th Baron Acton of Aldenham was born on 30 July 1941.² He was the son of John Emerich Henry Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 3rd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Hon. Daphne Strutt.¹ He married, firstly, Hilary Juliet Sarah Cookson, daughter of Dr. Osmond Laurence Charles Cookson, on 28 August 1965.² He married, secondly, Judith Garfield Todd, daughter of Hon. Sir Garfield Todd, in 1974.² He and Judith Garfield Todd were divorced in 1987.² He married, thirdly, Patricia Nassif, daughter of M. Morey Nassif, in 1988.² He died on 10 October 2010 at age 69 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, U.S.A.^G.³

     Reverend Hon. John Charles Lyon-Dalberg-Acton was born on 26 January 1943.¹ He was the son of John Emerich Henry Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 3rd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Hon. Daphne Strutt.¹ He died on 25 December 2016 at age 73.²

     Dr. Hon. Edward David Joseph Lyon-Dalberg-Acton was born on 4 February 1949.¹ He is the son of John Emerich Henry Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 3rd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Hon. Daphne Strutt.¹ He married Stella Marie Conroy, daughter of Henry Conroy, on 8 April 1972.¹

     Hon. Robert Peter Lyon-Dalberg-Acton was born on 23 June 1946.¹ He is the son of John Emerich Henry Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 3rd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Hon. Daphne Strutt.¹ He married Michele Laigle, daughter of Henri Laigle, on 28 June 1974.¹
     He was educated at St. George’s College, Harare, Zimbabwe^G.¹ He was the stud manager for Sheik Mohamed bin Rashid al Makhtoum.¹ He lived in 1999 at Rutland House, Saxon Street, Newmarket, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     Hon. Pelline Margot Lyon-Dalberg-Acton was born on 24 December 1932.¹ She is the daughter of John Emerich Henry Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 3rd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Hon. Daphne Strutt.¹ She married Laszlo de Marffy von Versegh, son of Elemer Marffy, on 30 June 1953.¹
     Her married name became de Marffy von Versegh. She lived in 1999 at Ealing Farm, Mvurwi, Zimbabwe^G.¹
