     Francis Acton was born on 23 July 1796.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Joseph Edward Acton and Eleanore Gräfin Berghe von Trips.1 He married Esther Maria Fagan, daughter of Robert Fagan, on 2 December 1820.1 He died in 1865.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the German Legion.1

Esther Maria Fagan1

     Esther Maria Fagan was born in 1792.2 She was the daughter of Robert Fagan.1 She married, firstly, William Baker, son of William Baker and Sophia Conyers, on 2 August 1809 at Lord Amherst’s House, Palermo, Sicily, Italy.1,2 She married, secondly, Francis Acton, son of Lt.-Gen. Joseph Edward Acton and Eleanore Gräfin Berghe von Trips, on 2 December 1820.1 She died in 1859.2
     From 2 August 1809, her married name became Baker.1 From 2 December 1820, her married name became Acton.1
