Shropshire [U.K., 1869] on 16 June 1924.2 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Acton, of Aldenham [Aldenham Hall, in Morville], Shropshire [E., 1644] on 16 June 1924.2 He succeeded as the Patrician of Naples [Italy] on 16 June 1924. He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery (Territorial Army.)2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)2 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1964.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire.2
