     John Emerich Henry Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 3rd Baron Acton of Aldenham was born on 15 December 1907.² He was the son of Richard Maximilian Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 2nd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Dorothy Lyon.¹ He married Hon. Daphne Strutt, daughter of Robert John Strutt, 4th Baron Rayleigh of Terling Place and Lady Mary Hilda Clements, on 25 November 1931.² He died on 23 January 1989 at age 81.²
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Acton of Aldenham, co. Shropshire [U.K., 1869] on 16 June 1924.² He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Acton, of Aldenham [Aldenham Hall, in Morville], Shropshire [E., 1644] on 16 June 1924.² He succeeded as the Patrician of Naples [Italy] on 16 June 1924. He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery (Territorial Army.)² He fought in the Second World War.² He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)² He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1964.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire.²

     Hon. Richard William Heribert Peter Lyon-Dalberg-Acton was born on 21 February 1909.¹ He was the son of Richard Maximilian Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 2nd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Dorothy Lyon.¹ He married Jill Ehlert, daughter of Hugo C. Ehlert, on 16 December 1937.¹ He died on 7 September 1946 at age 37 at Banjul, Gambia^G, killed in a plane crash.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Major in the Intelligence Corps.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1940.¹

     Jill Ehlert was the daughter of Hugo C. Ehlert.¹ She married Hon. Richard William Heribert Peter Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, son of Richard Maximilian Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 2nd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Dorothy Lyon, on 16 December 1937.¹ She died on 7 September 1946 at Banjul, Gambia^G, killed in a plane crash, with her husband.¹
     From 16 December 1937, her married name became Lyon-Dalberg-Acton.¹

     Hugo C. Ehlert lived at Buenos Aires, Argentina^G.¹

     Hon. Marie Immaculeé Antoinette Lyon-Dalberg-Acton was born on 1 April 1905.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Maximilian Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 2nd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Dorothy Lyon.¹ She married John Douglas Woodruff, son of Cumberland Woodruff, on 25 February 1933.¹ She died on 5 April 1994 at age 89.¹
     She fought in the First World War.² From 25 February 1933, her married name became Woodruff.¹ She was appointed Dame Grand Cross, Sovereign Military Order of Malta.¹

     John Douglas Woodruff was the son of Cumberland Woodruff.¹ He married Hon. Marie Immaculeé Antoinette Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, daughter of Richard Maximilian Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 2nd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Dorothy Lyon, on 25 February 1933.¹ He died on 9 March 1978.¹
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ John Douglas Woodruff usually went by his middle name of Douglas.¹

     Hon. Dorothy Elizabeth Anne Pelline Lyon-Dalberg-Acton was born on 25 June 1906.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Maximilian Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 2nd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Dorothy Lyon.¹ She married Edward Joseph Eyre, son of Edward Eyre, in June 1928.¹ She died before 11 April 1998.¹
     Hon. Dorothy Elizabeth Anne Pelline Lyon-Dalberg-Acton usually went by her middle name of Pelline.¹ From June 1928, her married name became Eyre.¹

     Edward Joseph Eyre was the son of Edward Eyre.¹ He married Hon. Dorothy Elizabeth Anne Pelline Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, daughter of Richard Maximilian Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 2nd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Dorothy Lyon, in June 1928.¹ He died on 6 October 1962.¹
