     Faith Deborah Etrenne Arbuthnot was born on 1 January 1921.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Archibald Hugh Arbuthnot and Marjory Beech.¹ She married Edmund O’Donnell Colley Grattan, son of Colley Edmund George Hume Grattan and Winifred Katharine Wyndham Barnard, on 14 June 1948.¹ She died on 15 March 2009 at age 88.²
     She gained the rank of Subaltern in the Auxiliary Territorial Service.¹ From 14 June 1948, her married name became Grattan.¹ She lived in 2003 at Quoins, Pound Place, Petworth, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Edmund O’Donnell Colley Grattan was born on 2 February 1910.² He was the son of Colley Edmund George Hume Grattan and Winifred Katharine Wyndham Barnard.^1,3 He married Faith Deborah Etrenne Arbuthnot, daughter of Lt.-Col. Archibald Hugh Arbuthnot and Marjory Beech, on 14 June 1948.¹ He died in 1985.¹

     Colley Edmund George Hume Grattan was born in 1864. He was the son of Sir Edmund Arnaut Grattan and Mary Cawthorne Hunter.² He married Winifred Katharine Wyndham Barnard, daughter of Sir Herbert Barnard, on 2 September 1905.³ He died in 1936.³

     Clive Edmund Hume Grattan was born on 22 July 1953.¹ He is the son of Edmund O’Donnell Colley Grattan and Faith Deborah Etrenne Arbuthnot.¹ He married Diana Mary Prowse, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. William John Prowse, in 1980.¹
