     Field Marshal Sir Henry Wylie Norman was born on 2 December 1826 at Finsbury, London, England.³ He was the son of Sir James Norman.⁴ He married, firstly, Selina Eliza Davidson on 14 April 1853 at Peshawar, Bengal, India.³ He married, secondly, Jemima Ann Knowles on 29 September 1864 at Simla, Bengal, India.³ He married, thirdly, Alice Claudine Sandys, daughter of Teignmouth Sandys and Anne Elizabeth Cauty, on 1 March 1870 at Bhaugalpore, Bengal, India.³ He died on 26 October 1904 at age 77 at Chelsea Hospital, Chelsea, London, England.³
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹

     Margaret Winifred Severs was the daughter of Albert Severs.¹ She married Ralph Strachey, son of Sir Richard Strachey and Jane Maria Grant, on 29 October 1901.¹ She died on 9 August 1972.¹
     From 29 October 1901, her married name became Strachey.¹

     Richard Philip Farquhar Strachey was born on 10 August 1902.¹ He was the son of Ralph Strachey and Margaret Winifred Severs.¹ He married, firstly, Frances Esmé Rudd, daughter of Charles John Rudd and Edith Katharine Brotherhood, in 1927.¹ He and Frances Esmé Rudd were divorced in 1940.¹ He married, secondly, Simonette Mary Reynolds Atchison, daughter of Charles Foster Atchison, on 23 December 1943.¹ He died on 20 March 1976 at age 73.¹
     He was a novelist.¹

     Frances Esmé Rudd is the daughter of Charles John Rudd and Edith Katharine Brotherhood.^1,2 She married Richard Philip Farquhar Strachey, son of Ralph Strachey and Margaret Winifred Severs, in 1927.¹ She and Richard Philip Farquhar Strachey were divorced in 1940.¹
     From 1927, her married name became Strachey.¹

     Charles John Rudd married Edith Katharine Brotherhood.²

     Philippa Hawtin was born on 19 September 1927 at Hampstead, London, England.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Philip Farquhar Strachey and Frances Esmé Rudd.¹ She died on 22 March 2016 at age 88.²
     She was given the name of Philippa Strachey at birth.¹ In 1961 her name was legally changed to Philippa Hawtin by Deed Poll.¹

     Victoria Strachey was born on 14 January 1929 at Hampstead, London, England.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Philip Farquhar Strachey and Frances Esmé Rudd.¹ She married Mark Graham Holloway in 1952.¹ She died on 12 July 2021 at age 92.²

     Simonette Mary Reynolds Atchison is the daughter of Charles Foster Atchison.¹ She married, firstly, S. John Woods before 1943.¹ She married, secondly, Richard Philip Farquhar Strachey, son of Ralph Strachey and Margaret Winifred Severs, on 23 December 1943.¹
     From before 1943, her married name became Woods.¹ From 23 December 1943, her married name became Strachey.¹
