     Rupprecht von der Pfalz was born on 27 February 1427.¹ He was the son of Ludwig III Kurfürst von der Pfalz and Matilda Principessa de Savoia-Achaea.¹ He died on 26 July 1480 at age 53.¹
     He held the office of Prince-Elector Archbishop of Cologne.¹

     Teignmouth Sandys was born on 8 August 1808 at St. Keverne, Cornwall, England.¹ He married, firstly, Caroline Bayly, daughter of Nicholas Paget Bayly and Sarah Laycock, on 26 February 1833 at Dinapore, Bengal, India.² He married, secondly, Anne Elizabeth Cauty, daughter of Richard Finnie Cauty and Eleanor Dove, on 28 November 1843 at Berhampore, Bengal, India.² He died on 29 August 1885 at age 77 at Hillington, London, England.¹
     He was with the Honourable East India Company Service.²
