     From 1853, her married name became Rendel.¹

     Colonel Richard John Strachey was born on 19 May 1861.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard Strachey and Jane Maria Grant.² He married Grace Alice Norman, daughter of Field Marshal Sir Henry Wylie Norman and Alice Claudine Sandys, on 30 December 1896.¹ He died on 23 October 1935 at age 74.¹
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Rifle Brigade.¹

     Dorothea Strachey was born in 1865.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Richard Strachey and Jane Maria Grant.¹ She married Simon Busey on 18 April 1903.² She died on 1 May 1960.²
     From 18 April 1903, her married name became Busey.²

     Ralph Strachey was born on 28 September 1868.² He was the son of Sir Richard Strachey and Jane Maria Grant.¹ He married Margaret Winifred Severs, daughter of Albert Severs, on 29 October 1901.² He died on 18 June 1923 at age 54.²

     Philippa Strachey was born in 1872.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Richard Strachey and Jane Maria Grant.¹ She died on 23 August 1968, unmarried.²
     She was Governor at Bedford College, London University, London, England.² She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1951.²

     Joan Pernel Strachey was born in 1876.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Richard Strachey and Jane Maria Grant.¹ She died on 19 December 1951, unmarried.²
     Joan Pernel Strachey usually went by her middle name of Pernel.² She graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² She was Principal between 1923 and 1941 at Newnham College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.²

     Marjorie Colville Strachey was born in 1882.² She was the daughter of Sir Richard Strachey and Jane Maria Grant.² She died on 16 January 1964, unmarried.¹

     Gillian Mary-Louise McLaren married Dominic Robert Charles Bell de Beaumont, son of Robert Henri Louis Charles de Beaumont and Joy Daphne Pettigrew, in 1987.¹
     From 1987, her married name became Beaumont.

     Louis Alexander de Beaumont was born on 26 September 1995.¹ He is the son of Dominic Robert Charles Bell de Beaumont and Gillian Mary-Louise McLaren.²
