     He was Director of the Honourable East India Company.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Nightingale, of Newport Pond, co. Essex [E., 1628].¹ On his death his estates passed to his grand-nephew, Robert Gascoyne, while the baronetcy became dormant, unmarried.¹

     He was Vicar at Enfield, London, England.¹

     Robert Gascoyne Theobald is the son of Reverend Joseph Gascoyne Theobald.²
     He succeeded to the Nightingale estates.¹

     Sir Edward Powell, 1st Bt. is the son of Edmund Powell. He married Mary Vanlore, daughter of Sir Peter Vanlore and Jacoba Teighbott.
     He gained the title of 1st Baronet Powell.
