     Jane Garrard was the daughter of Sir John Garrard, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Barkham.¹ She married Sir Justinian Isham, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Isham, 1st Bt. and Judith Lewin, on 10 November 1634.² She died on 4 March 1638.²
     From 10 November 1634, her married name became Isham.¹

     Sir John Garrard, 1st Bt. married Elizabeth Barkham, daughter of Sir Edward Barkham and Jane Crouch.
     He was created 1st Baronet Garrard in 1622.¹

     Sir Justinian Isham, 2nd Bt. was born on 20 January 1610/11.³ He was the son of Sir John Isham, 1st Bt. and Judith Lewin.⁴ He married, firstly, Jane Garrard, daughter of Sir John Garrard, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Barkham, on 10 November 1634.³ He married, secondly, Hon. Vere Leigh, daughter of Thomas Leigh, 1st Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh and Mary Egerton, in 1653.⁴ He died on 2 March 1675 at age 64.
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Isham, of Lamport, co. Northampton [E., 1627] on 8 July 1651.¹ He was a royalist in the Civil War, as his father was, and was consequently heavily fined during the Interregnum.³ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northamptonshire between 1661 and 1675.³

     Elizabeth Isham was the daughter of Sir Justinian Isham, 2nd Bt. and Jane Garrard.¹ She married Sir Nicholas le Strange, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Nicholas le Strange, 1st Bt. and Ann Lewkenor, on 16 October 1662 at Stowlangtoft, Suffolk, England^G.¹ She died circa August 1689.² She was buried on 6 August 1689.²
     From 16 October 1662, her married name became le Strange.¹

     Sir Edmund Aleyn, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1632.² He was the son of Edmund Aleyn and Mary Miller.² He married Frances Gent, daughter of Thomas Gent, on 1 May 1651 at St. Gile’s-in-the-Fields Church, London, England^G.¹ He died on 2 November 1656, without male issue.² He was buried at Hatfield Church, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Aleyn, of Hatfield, co. Essex [E., 1629] in November 1638.¹

     Frances Gent was born in 1636.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Gent.¹ She married Sir Edmund Aleyn, 2nd Bt., son of Edmund Aleyn and Mary Miller, on 1 May 1651 at St. Gile’s-in-the-Fields Church, London, England^G.¹ She died on 16 January 1657.¹ She was buried at Hatfield Church, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ Her will (dated 15 January 1657) was proven (by probate) on 1 February 1657/58.¹
     From 1 May 1651, her married name became Aleyn.¹

     Thomas Gent was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He lived at Steeple Bumpsted, Essex, England^G.¹

     Sir Edmund Aleyn, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Edmund Aleyn, 2nd Bt. and Frances Gent.¹ He died after 1656, young.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Aleyn, of Hatfield, co. Essex [E., 1629] on 2 November 1656.¹

     Sir George Aleyn, 4th Bt. was born after 1632.¹ He was the son of Edmund Aleyn and Mary Miller.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Hall.¹ He married, secondly, Martha Jones, daughter of Roger Jones.¹ He died in 1664.¹ He was buried at Little Leighs, Essex, England^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Aleyn, of Hatfield, co. Essex [E., 1629] circa 1657, and then ‘of Little Leighs, co. Essex.¹‘

     Elizabeth Hall married Sir George Aleyn, 4th Bt., son of Edmund Aleyn and Mary Miller.¹ She died, without male issue.¹
     She lived at Lincolnshire, England^G.¹ Her married name became Aleyn.¹
