John Browne, 1st Baron Kilmaine1 
He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Browne, of the Neale, near Ballinrobe, co. Mayo [N.S., 1636] on 9 September 1765.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newtown [Ireland] between 1777 and 1783.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Mayo in 1778.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carlow [Ireland] between 1783 and 1789.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Mayo in 1788.1 He was created 1st Baron Kilmaine, of the Neale, co. Mayo [Ireland] on 21 September 1789.1 He purchased the estate of Gaulston, County Westmeath from the Earl of Belvedere.1

Armagh [I., 1620] on 21 July 1726. He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Charlemont, co. Armagh [I., 1665] on 21 July 1726.1
