     Sir Edward Payson Wills, 1st Bt. was born on 12 June 1834.¹ He was the son of Henry Overton Wills and Isabella Board.² He married Mary Ann Pearce, daughter of Joseph Chaning Pearce and Amelia Stancomb, on 2 September 1858.¹ He died on 13 March 1910 at age 75.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.¹ He was director of Imperial Tobacco Company.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He was created 1st Baronet Wills, of Hazelwood, Stoke-Bishop, Bristol [U.K.] on 19 August 1904.¹ He lived at Hazelwood, Stoke Bishop, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He lived at Clapton in Gordano, Somerset, England.¹

     Mary Ann Pearce was the daughter of Joseph Chaning Pearce and Amelia Stancomb.¹ She married Sir Edward Payson Wills, 1st Bt., son of Henry Overton Wills and Isabella Board, on 2 September 1858.¹ She died on 25 January 1891.¹
     Her married name became Wills.

     He was appointed Fellow, Geological Society (F.G.S.)¹ He was registered as a MLCS.¹ He lived at Montague House, Bath, Somerset, England.¹

     John James Dudley Stuart Townshend, 6th Marquess Townshend of Raynham was born on 17 October 1866.¹ He was the son of John Villiers Stuart Townshend, 5th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Lady Anne Elizabeth Clementina Duff.¹ He married Gwladys Ethel Gwendolen Eugenie Sutherst, daughter of Thomas Sutherst, on 9 August 1905.¹ He died on 17 November 1921 at age 55.¹
     He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Townshend, of Rainham, co. Norfolk [E., 1617] on 26 October 1899.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baron Townshend of Lynn Regis, co. Norfolk [E., 1682] on 26 October 1899.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Marquess Townshend of Raynham, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1787] on 26 October 1899.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Townshend of Raynham, co. Norfolk [E., 1682] on 26 October 1899.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk.¹

     Lady Jane Edith Seymour was born on 1 April 1877.¹ She was the daughter of Hugh de Grey Seymour, 6th Marquess of Hertford and Hon. Mary Hood.¹ She married Major Hugh Dudley Carleton, son of General Henry Alexander Carleton and Elizabeth Boyle, on 11 August 1904.¹
     Her married name became Carleton.

     John Randolphus de Trafford was born on 11 April 1820.² He was the son of Sir Thomas Joseph de Trafford, 1st Bt. and Laura Anne Colman.² He married Lady Adelaide Cathcart, daughter of General Charles Murray Cathcart, 2nd Earl Cathcart and Henrietta Mather, on 13 July 1850.² He died on 3 February 1879 at age 58.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Croston Hall, Preston, Lancashire, England^G.²

     Gwladys Ethel Gwendolen Eugenie Sutherst was born in 1882 at St. Pancras, London, England.² She was the daughter of Thomas Sutherst.¹ She married, firstly, John James Dudley Stuart Townshend, 6th Marquess Townshend of Raynham, son of John Villiers Stuart Townshend, 5th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Lady Anne Elizabeth Clementina Duff, on 9 August 1905.¹ She married, secondly, Bernard le Strange, son of Captain Roland le Strange, on 19 October 1946.¹ She died on 10 October 1959.¹
     After her marriage, Gwladys Ethel Gwendolen Eugenie Sutherst was styled as Marchioness Townshend of Raynham on 9 August 1905. From 9 August 1905, her married name became Townshend. She held the office of Mayor of King’s Lynn in 1928.¹ Her married name became le Stange.

     Thomas Sutherst was a practising barrister.¹

     Bernard le Strange was the son of Captain Roland le Strange.¹ He married Gwladys Ethel Gwendolen Eugenie Sutherst, daughter of Thomas Sutherst, on 19 October 1946.¹ He died on 13 March 1958.
