     Margaret Brown was born circa 1841 at London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of John Wyld Brown and Mary Mackellar.2,3 She married William Younger of Auchencastle, son of William Younger of Craigielands and Isabella Johnston, in October 1861.1 She died on 29 July 1900.1
     From October 1861, her married name became Younger.
