     Anne Crone was born in 1793.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Fennell Crone and Martha Norcott.¹ She died on 22 October 1872, unmarried.¹

     Robert Crone was born on 29 October 1795.¹ He was the son of Robert Fennell Crone and Martha Norcott.¹ He married Jane Margaret Norcott, daughter of Dr. John Norcott, in 1829.¹ He died in 1877.¹

     William Younger of Craigielands was born on 21 June 1801.¹ He is the son of William Younger of Craigielands and Janet Hunter.² He married Isabella Johnston, daughter of Henry Johnston, in 1827.¹ He died on 5 June 1854 at age 52.¹

     Henrietta Younger was born on 9 January 1837 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of William Younger of Craigielands and Isabella Johnston.³ She married Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt., son of Sir William Jardine of Applegirth, 7th Bt. and Jane Home Lizars, on 28 December 1861 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.^1,2 She died on 13 June 1925 at age 88.¹
     From 28 December 1861, her married name became Jardine.¹

     Sir William Jardine of Applegirth, 9th Bt. was born on 11 June 1865.¹ He was the son of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt. and Henrietta Younger.² He married Eda Georgina May Younger, daughter of Henry Johnston Younger and Jane Edith Richardson, on 7 November 1906.² He died on 13 December 1915 at age 50, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Fettes College, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Jardine, of Applegirth [N.S., 1672] on 14 January 1893.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Volunteer Battalion, Cheshire Regiment and Calcutta Light Horse.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dumfriesshire.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd Battalion, King’s Own Scottish Borderers.¹ He lived at Jardine Hall, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G.¹

     Henry Johnston Younger was born on 5 October 1832.² He was the son of William Younger of Craigielands and Isabella Johnston.² He married, firstly, Emma Lowman, daughter of Richard Lowman.² He married, secondly, Jane Edith Richardson, daughter of T. Richardson, in 1876.² He died on 6 March 1913 at age 80.²
     He was Commissioner of Supply.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He lived at Benmore, Kilmun, Argyllshire, Scotland.²

     Eda Georgina May Younger was the daughter of Henry Johnston Younger and Jane Edith Richardson.² She married Sir William Jardine of Applegirth, 9th Bt., son of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt. and Henrietta Younger, on 7 November 1906.² She died on 30 December 1960, without issue.²
     From 7 November 1906, her married name became Jardine.¹

     Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 10th Bt. was born on 1 August 1868.¹ He was the son of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt. and Henrietta Younger.² He married Winifred Mary Hamilton Young, daughter of Major Thomas Young and Harriet Charlotte Ramsay, on 10 February 1914.¹ He died on 27 March 1942 at age 73.¹
     He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Jardine, of Applegirth [N.S., 1672] on 13 December 1915.¹

     Isabel Edith Jardine was the daughter of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt. and Henrietta Younger.² She married Robert Young Pickering on 7 April 1910.¹ She died on 3 March 1933.¹
     From 7 April 1910, her married name became Pickering.

     Robert Young Pickering married Isabel Edith Jardine, daughter of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth, 8th Bt. and Henrietta Younger, on 7 April 1910.¹
     He lived at Conheath, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G.¹
