     Reverend Robert King was born in May 1813.1 He was the son of Sir Robert King, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Rowe.2 He married, firstly, Jane Nesbitt, daughter of Matthew Nesbitt, in 1838.1 He married, secondly, Arabella Watkins, daughter of John Watkins, in 1872.1 He died on 20 June 1884 at age 71, without issue.1
     He was Rector at Kilmore, Drumsna, County Leitrim, Ireland.1
