Longford [I., 1675] on 16 April 1780.1 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Granard [I., 1684] on 16 April 1780.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Clanehugh, co. Longford [I., 1675] on 16 April 1780.1 He was created 1st Baron Granard of Castle Donnington, co. Leicester [U.K.] on 24 February 1806.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3
