     Lady Grizel Mary Boyle was born on 28 April 1913.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Patrick James Boyle, 8th Earl of Glasgow and Hyacyinthe Mary Bell.¹ She married Major Malcolm Victor Alexander Wolfe Murray, son of Brig.-Gen. Arthur Alexander Wolfe Murray and Evelyn Mary Hay Mackenzie, on 23 April 1935.¹ She died on 26 September 1942 at age 29, lost at sea through enemy action.¹
     Her married name became Wolfe Murray.

     Maj.-Gen. Guy Payan Dawnay was born on 23 March 1878.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Lewis Rayan Dawnay and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Elizabeth Grey.² He married Cecil Buxton, daughter of Francis William Buxton and Hon. Mary Emma Lawrence, on 12 July 1906.¹ He died on 19 January 1952 at age 73.²
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1902.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1907.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches eleven times.² He gained the rank of GSO(2) in 1914.² He gained the rank of GSO(1) in 1915.² He gained the rank of Temporary Brigadier-General in 1916.² He was awarded the Order of St. Anne of Russia.² He was awarded the Order of St. Maurice and St. Lazarus of Italy.² He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.² He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal (D.S.M.) U.S.² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1918.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Major-General in 1918 in the General Staff.² He gained the rank of Honorary Major-General in 1919 in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He lived at Long Parish House, Andover, Hampshire, England^G.

     Lt.-Gen. George Forbes, 4th Earl of Granard was born on 15 March 1710.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral George Forbes, 3rd Earl of Granard and Hon. Mary Stewart.¹ He married Letitia Davys, daughter of Arthur Davys and Hon. Catherine Stewart, on 16 July 1736.¹ He died on 16 October 1769 at age 59.
     He was commissioned in 1726, in the service of the British Army.¹ He fought in the Battle of Toulon in 1743, against a Franco-Spanish fleet.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1746 in the Tangier Regiment.¹ He was Quartermaster-General [ireland] between 1754 and 1757.¹ He was Colonel of the 76th Foot between 1756 and 1761.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in 1759.¹ He was Colonel of the 29th Foot between 1761 and 1769.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1765.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Viscount of Granard, co. Longford [I., 1675] on 4 October 1765.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Clanehugh, co. Longford [I., 1675] on 4 October 1765.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Forbes, of Castle Forbes, Co. Longford, Ireland [N.S., 1628] on 4 October 1765.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Granard [I., 1684] on 4 October 1765.¹

     Letitia Davys was the daughter of Arthur Davys and Hon. Catherine Stewart.¹ She married Lt.-Gen. George Forbes, 4th Earl of Granard, son of Vice-Admiral George Forbes, 3rd Earl of Granard and Hon. Mary Stewart, on 16 July 1736.¹ She died on 19 May 1778.¹
     She was also known as Mary Davis.² From 16 July 1736, her married name became Forbes. After her marriage, Letitia Davys was styled as Countess of Granard on 4 October 1765.

     Arthur Davys married Hon. Catherine Stewart, daughter of William Stewart, 1st Viscount Mountjoy and Hon. Mary Coote.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carrickfergus.¹

     Hon. Catherine Stewart was the daughter of William Stewart, 1st Viscount Mountjoy and Hon. Mary Coote. She married Arthur Davys.²
     Her married name became Davys.

     Lady Mary Forbes was the daughter of Vice-Admiral George Forbes, 3rd Earl of Granard and Hon. Mary Stewart.¹ She married James Irvine of Kingcaussie.¹ She died on 27 November 1797.¹
     Her married name became Irvine.¹

     Hugh Charles Cameron-Rose was born in 1962.¹ He is the son of Hugh Alexander James Cameron-Rose and Hon. Caroline Patricia Bagot.¹

     George Forbes, 5th Earl of Granard was born on 2 April 1740.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. George Forbes, 4th Earl of Granard and Letitia Davys.¹ He married, firstly, Dorothea Bayly, daughter of Sir Nicholas Bayly, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Paget, in 1759.¹ He married, secondly, Lady Georgiana Augusta Berkeley, daughter of Lt.-Col. Augustus Berkeley, 4th Earl of Berkeley and Elizabeth Drax, on 20 April 1766 at London, England^G.² He died on 16 April 1780 at age 40.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Forbes, of Castle Forbes, Co. Longford, Ireland [N.S., 1628] on 16 October 1769.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Viscount of Granard, co. Longford [I., 1675] on 16 October 1769.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Granard [I., 1684] on 16 October 1769.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Clanehugh, co. Longford [I., 1675] on 16 October 1769.¹

     Dorothea Bayly was the daughter of Sir Nicholas Bayly, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Paget.¹ She married George Forbes, 5th Earl of Granard, son of Lt.-Gen. George Forbes, 4th Earl of Granard and Letitia Davys, in 1759.¹ She died on 24 February 1764.¹
     From 1759, her married name became Forbes.
