Caroline Paget was born in 1707.2 She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Thomas Paget and Mary Whitcombe.1 She married Sir Nicholas Bayly, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Edward Bayly, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Lambart, on 19 April 1737 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.3,4 She died on 7 February 1766 at Plas Newydd, Anglesey, Wales.1,4 She was buried at Llanldwen, Anglesey, WalesG.4 She died intestate and her estate was administered on 22 August 1766.4
Her married name became Bayly.

He matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, on 12 July 1726.3 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anglesey between 1734 and 1741.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bayly, of Placenewyd, co. Anglesey and Mount Bagenall, co. Louth [I., 1730] in September 1741.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anglesey between 1747 and 1761.1,2 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Anglesey in 1763.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anglesey between 1770 and 1774.2
