     Lady Jane Grey was born on 21 March 1803.2 She was the daughter of George Harry Grey, 6th Earl of Stamford and Lady Henrietta Charlotte Elizabeth Charteris.1,3 She married John Benn Walsh, 1st Baron Ormathwaite, son of Sir John Benn Walsh, 1st Bt. and Margaret Fowke, on 8 November 1825.1 She died on 22 June 1877 at age 74.2
     From 8 November 1825, her married name became Walsh.1

David Staig Babington was born on 3 October 1804 at Dumfries, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.2 He was the son of Reverend Charles Maitland Babington and Lilias Staig.3 He married Maria Anne Sutherland on 30 August 1838 at Madras, India.1 He died on 19 August 1874 at age 69 at Sion Hill, Clifton, Bristol, England.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Madras Army.1
