Mary Alice Sitwell was the daughter of Sir Sitwell Sitwell, 1st Bt. and Alice Parke.2 She married Sir Charles Wake, 10th Bt., son of Sir William Wake, 9th Bt. and Mary Sitwell, on 23 August 1815.1 She died on 3 February 1816, without issue.1

Sir William Wake, 11th Bt. was born in 1823 at Rennishaw Hill, Derbyshire, England.2,3 He was the son of Sir Charles Wake, 10th Bt. and Charlotte Tait.2 He married Margaret Anne Fricker, daughter of Henry Fricker and Margaret Nonchett, on 21 September 1844.2 He died on 13 April 1865.2
As a result of his marriage, he was confined by his father on a pretext of insanity but escaped in the packing case of a piano which he had ordered to be sent to his place of confinement then got sent back.2 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Wake, of Clevedon, Somerset and Piddington, co. Northampton [E., 1621] on 23 February 1864.1
