     He was educated at Pembroke College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was a practising barrister.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Haverfordwest in 1736.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carmarthen between 1741 and 1747.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Philipps, of Picton Castle [E., 1621] on 7 October 1743.¹ He held the office of Lord Commissioner of the Board of Trade and Plantations from 1744 to 1745.¹ He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1749 with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Petersfield between 1754 and 1761.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Pembrokeshire between 1761 and 1764.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1763.¹

     Elizabeth Shepherd is the daughter of Henry Shepherd.² She married Sir John Philipps, 6th Bt., son of Sir John Philipps, 4th Bt. and Mary Smith, on 22 September 1725.¹

     Richard Philipps, 1st and last Baron Milford was born in 1744.¹ He was the son of Sir John Philipps, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Shepherd.² He married Mary Philipps, daughter of James Philipps, on 2 June 1764.¹ He died on 28 November 1823, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Pembroke College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Philipps, of Picton Castle [E., 1621] on 23 June 1764.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Pembrokeshire between 1765 and 1770.¹ He was created 1st Baron Milford, in Ireland [Ireland] on 22 July 1766, allegedly as a sop by the Prime Minister, Lord North, after he was refused permission to cut a carriage road up to the front door of his London house.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Haverfordwest between 1770 and 1823.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Plympton between 1774 and 1780.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Haverfordwest between 1784 and 1786.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Pembrokeshire between 1786 and 1812.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Pembrokeshire between 1786 and 1823.¹

     Mary Philipps was the daughter of James Philipps.¹ She married Richard Philipps, 1st and last Baron Milford, son of Sir John Philipps, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Shepherd, on 2 June 1764.¹ She died on 26 August 1815.¹
     After her marriage, Mary Philipps was styled as Baroness Milford on 22 July 1766.

     Bulkeley Philipps is the son of Sir John Philipps, 4th Bt. and Mary Smith.²
     He lived at Abercover, Carmarthenshire, Wales.¹

     Margaret Philipps was the daughter of Sir Erasmus Philipps, 3rd Bt. and Katherine D’Arcy.² She married Reverend Griffith Jones.¹ She died on 5 January 1756.¹
     Her married name became Jones.

     Reverend Griffith Jones married Margaret Philipps, daughter of Sir Erasmus Philipps, 3rd Bt. and Katherine D’Arcy.¹ He died on 8 April 1761.¹
     He was Rector at Llanddowror, Wales.¹

     Christine Charlotte van Walbeek was born on 26 May 1945 at The Hague, The Netherlands.¹ She married Jonkheer Willem Gerrit Dedel, son of Jonkheer Cornelis Dedel and Anna Maria Barones Bentinck, on 9 October 1976 at The Hague, The Netherlands.¹

     Richard Boldero was born in 1459 at Fornham St. Martin, Suffolk, England.¹ He was the son of William Boldero and Elizabeth (?)¹ He married Cecily (?)¹ He died in 1529.¹
