     Ann Wotton was born in 1629.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Wotton, 2nd Baron Wotton of Marley and Mary Throckmorton.¹ She married Sir Edward Hales, 2nd Bt., son of John Hales, in 1644.¹ She died after 1648.¹

     Colonel Edward Frewen was the son of Thomas Frewen and Helen Louisa Homan.² He married Anne Mary Byng, daughter of Captain Henry Byng and Mary Anne Webb, on 26 June 1873.¹ He died on 13 January 1919.
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the East Kent Imperial YEomanry.² He held the office of High Sheriff for Rutland.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He lived at Brickwall, Sussex, England.¹

     William Disney Roe was born circa 1824 at Ireland.¹ He married Anna Grendon on 17 April 1849 at St. Peter’s Church, Aungier Street, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He died on 15 February 1890 at Athenry, County Galway, Ireland.¹

     Lt.-Col. Richard Gubbins was born on 22 July 1781. He was the son of James Gubbins and Mary Watts. He married, firstly, Mary Breton, daughter of Peter Breton and Lucy Goldwin, on 18 October 1819. He married, secondly, Sarah Shard, daughter of Charles Shard, on 28 September 1825 at St. James’s, Westminster, London, England. He died on 2 January 1836 at age 54.
     He lived at Belmont, Hampshire, England.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1831.¹

     Mary Gubbins was baptised on 27 December 1827 at Bedhampton, Hampshire, England.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Gubbins and Sarah Shard.^3,2 She married Captain Henry Byng, son of Vice-Admiral Hon. Henry Dilkes Byng and Maria Jane Clerke, on 9 June 1857.¹ She died in 1895.¹
     From 9 June 1857, her married name became Byng.
