     Elizabeth Sarah Strangeways was born in 1829 at Shapwick, Somerset, England.1 She was the daughter of Henry Bull Strangeways and Sophia Jane Templer.1 She married Reverend John William Radcliffe, son of John Radcliffe, in 1852 at Plymouth, Devon, England.1 She died in 1878 at Wellington, Somerset, England.1
     From 1852, her married name became Radcliffe.1

     Sir John Sinclair of Stevenson, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Robert Sinclair of Stevenson, 3rd Bt. and Lady Helen Lindsay.2 He married Martha Lockhart, daughter of John Lockhart, Lord Castlehill, in 1698.1 He died in September 1726.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lanark between 1703 and 1707.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Sinclair [N.S., 1636] in July 1713.1

     Martha Lockhart was the daughter of John Lockhart, Lord Castlehill.2 She married, firstly, Cromwell Lockhart, 12th of the Lee, son of Sir William Lockhart, 11th of the Lee and Robina Sewster.2 She married, secondly, Sir John Sinclair of Stevenson, 4th Bt., son of Sir Robert Sinclair of Stevenson, 3rd Bt. and Lady Helen Lindsay, in 1698.1 She died on 15 May 1752.1
     From 1698, her married name became Sinclair.
