     General Beaumont Hotham, 3rd Baron Hotham of South Dalton was born on 9 August 1794.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Beaumont Hotham and Philadelphia Dyke.¹ He died on 12 December 1870 at age 76, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Hotham of South Dalton [I., 1797] on 4 March 1814.¹ He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Hotham [E., 1622] on 4 March 1814.¹ He fought in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leominster between 1820 and 1841.¹

     Sir Patrick Learmonth of Dairsie was the son of Sir James Learmonth, 1st of Balcomie and Katherine Ramsay of Clatto.¹ He married Isobel Balfour, daughter of Andrew Balfour, 2nd of Montquhannie and Janet Bruce. He died before 1593.¹

     Charles Hotham, 4th Baron Hotham of South Dalton was born on 27 May 1836.¹ He was the son of Rear-Admiral Hon. George Frederick Hotham and Lady Susan Maria O’Brien.¹ He died on 29 May 1872 at age 36.¹
     He was awarded the Knight, Order of the Medjidie.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Hotham of South Dalton [I., 1797] on 12 December 1870.¹ He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Hotham [E., 1622] on 12 December 1870.¹

     John Hotham, 5th Baron Hotham of South Dalton was born on 13 May 1838.¹ He was the son of Rear-Admiral Hon. George Frederick Hotham and Lady Susan Maria O’Brien.¹ He died on 13 December 1907 at age 69, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the Crimean War between 1854 and 1856.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Hotham of South Dalton [I., 1797] on 29 May 1872.¹ He succeeded as the 15th Baronet Hotham [E., 1622] on 29 May 1872.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Yorkshire.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire in 1884.¹

     Admiral William Hotham, 1st Baron Hotham of South Dalton was born on 8 April 1736.¹ He was the son of Sir Beaumont Hotham, 7th Bt. and Frances Thompson.¹ He died on 7 May 1813 at age 77, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval Academy, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel between 1779 and 1787 in the Royal Marines.¹ He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1787.¹ He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1790.¹ He gained the rank of Admiral of the Blue in 1795.¹ He was created 1st Baron Hotham of South Dalton [Ireland] on 17 March 1797, with special remainder to the male heirs of his fahter.¹ He gained the rank of Admiral of the White in 1799.¹ He gained the rank of Admiral of the Red in 1805.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Hotham [E., 1622] in 1811.¹

     Sir Derek Gerald Ryan, 4th Bt. was born on 25 March 1954.¹ He is the son of Sir Derek Gerald Ryan, 3rd Bt. and Penelope Anne Hawkings.² He married, firstly, Maria Teresa Rodriguez, daughter of Juan G. Rodriguez, in 1986.¹ He and Maria Teresa Rodriguez were divorced in 1990.¹ He married, secondly, Roberta Walker on 27 December 1997.¹ He and Roberta Walker were divorced.¹
     He graduated from University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, California, U.S.A.^G, in 1977 with a f Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Environmental Design.¹ ) He was an architect.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Ryan, of Hintlesham, co. Suffolk [U.K., 1919] in 1990.¹ He lived in 2003 at Ketchum, Idaho, U.S.A.¹

     Juan G. Rodriguez lived at Lexington, Kentucky, U.S.A.¹

     Maria Teresa Rodriguez is the daughter of Juan G. Rodriguez.² She married Sir Derek Gerald Ryan, 4th Bt., son of Sir Derek Gerald Ryan, 3rd Bt. and Penelope Anne Hawkings, in 1986.¹ She and Sir Derek Gerald Ryan, 4th Bt. were divorced in 1990.¹
     From 1986, her married name became Ryan.
