     Andrew Balfour, 2nd of Montquhannie was the son of Sir Michael Balfour, 1st of Montquhannie and Marjorie Durie. He married Janet Bruce, daughter of Sir Alexander Bruce, 1st of Earlshall and Janet Stewart, before 3 September 1530. He died before 1592.2
