     Anthony Rodney was the son of George Rodney and Anne Lake.2 He married Constantia Clarke, daughter of Ralph Clarke.1 He died in 1705 at Barcelona, Spain, killed in a duel.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Colonel Leigh’s Regiment of Dragoons.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1702 in the Holt’s Regiment of Marines.1
