     Herbert Walter Acland-Troyte was born on 13 September 1882.¹ He was the son of Colonel Charles Arthur William Troyte and Katherine Mary Walrond.¹ He married Marjorie Florence Pym, daughter of Charles Guy Pym and Emily Mildred Thornton, on 3 February 1910 at Chelsea, London, England.^1,2 He and Marjorie Florence Pym were divorced in 1921.¹ He died on 24 November 1943 at age 61.¹
     He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Reserve Officers, Territorial Army.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Marjorie Florence Pym was born on 14 May 1891 at 35 Cranley Gardens, Kensngton, London, England.^2,3 She was the daughter of Charles Guy Pym and Emily Mildred Thornton.^1,2 She married, firstly, Herbert Walter Acland-Troyte, son of Colonel Charles Arthur William Troyte and Katherine Mary Walrond, on 3 February 1910 at Chelsea, London, England.^1,3 She and Herbert Walter Acland-Troyte were divorced in 1921.¹ She married, secondly, André Edmond Alfred Cluysenaar on 19 June 1922 at London, England.^2,3 She died in 1977 at Taunton, Somerset, England.³
     Her married name became Acland-Troyte. From 19 June 1922, her married name became Cluysenaar.²

     Charles Guy Pym was born in February 1841.² He was the son of Reverend William Wollaston Pym and Sophia Rose Gambier.² He married Emily Mildred Thornton, daughter of Henry Sykes Thornton and Emily Dealtry, in 1885.² He died on 10 November 1918 at age 77.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedford between 1895 and 1906.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He held the office of High Sheriff of London in 1911.² He lived at Caesar’s Camp, Sandy, Bedfordshire, England^G.²

     Anne Acland-Troyte was born on 12 June 1912.¹ She was the daughter of Herbert Walter Acland-Troyte and Marjorie Florence Pym.¹ She married, firstly, Robert Egerton Grosvenor, 5th Baron Ebury of Ebury Manor, son of Francis Egerton Grosvenor, 4th Baron Ebury of Ebury Manor and Mary Adela Glasson, on 1 July 1933.¹ She and Robert Egerton Grosvenor, 5th Baron Ebury of Ebury Manor were divorced in 1941.¹ She married, secondly, Henry Peregrine Rennie Hoare, son of Henry Hoare and Lady Geraldine Mariana Hervey, on 23 December 1941.¹ She and Henry Peregrine Rennie Hoare were divorced in 1947.¹ She married, thirdly, Lt.-Col. Frederick Edwin Barton Wignall on 13 November 1947.¹ She married, fourthly, Anthony Freire Marreco, son of Geoffrey Freire Marreco, on 25 September 1961.¹ She died in 1982.¹
     After her marriage, Anne Acland-Troyte was styled as Baroness Ebury of Ebury Manor on 1 July 1933. From 1 July 1933, her married name became Grosvenor. From 23 December 1941, her married name became Hoare. From 13 November 1947, her married name became Wignall.² From 25 September 1961, her married name became Marreco.¹

     Robert Egerton Grosvenor, 5th Baron Ebury of Ebury Manor was born on 8 February 1914.¹ He was the son of Francis Egerton Grosvenor, 4th Baron Ebury of Ebury Manor and Mary Adela Glasson.¹ He married, firstly, Anne Acland-Troyte, daughter of Herbert Walter Acland-Troyte and Marjorie Florence Pym, on 1 July 1933.² He and Anne Acland-Troyte were divorced in 1941.² He married, secondly, Hon. Denise Margaret Yarde-Buller, daughter of John Reginald Lopes Yarde-Buller, 3rd Baron Churston of Churston Ferrers and Lupton and Jessie Smither, on 21 November 1941.³ He and Hon. Denise Margaret Yarde-Buller were divorced in 1954.³ He married, thirdly, Sheila Winifred Dashfield, daughter of Arthur Edward Dashfield, on 12 October 1954.¹ He died on 5 May 1957 at age 43, killed in a motor racing accident.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baron Ebury of Ebury Manor, co. L. Aslin, on 8 March 1963.¹ He and Kyra Aslin were divorced in 1973.¹ He married, thirdly, Suzanne Jean Suckling, daughter of Graham Suckling, on 24 February 1974 at St. John’s Anglican Church, Toorak, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.^1,3

     Gillian Elfrida Astley Soames is the daughter of Martin Roland Soames and Myra Drummond.¹ She married Francis Egerton Grosvenor, 8th Earl of Wilton of Wilton Caslte, son of Robert Egerton Grosvenor, 5th Baron Ebury of Ebury Manor and Anne Acland-Troyte, on 10 December 1957.¹ She and Francis Egerton Grosvenor, 8th Earl of Wilton of Wilton Caslte were divorced in 1962.¹
     Gillian Elfrida Astley Soames also went by the nick-name of Elfin.¹ From 10 December 1957, her married name became Grosvenor. After her marriage, Gillian Elfrida Astley Soames was styled as Baroness Ebury of Ebury Manor on 10 December 1957.
