     He succeeded as the 7th Lord de Ros of Helmsley [E., 1299] on 1 September 1414.1 He fought in the Battle of Agincourt in 1415.1 He fought in the Siege of Rouen between 1417 and 1419.1 He fought in the Sige of Melun in 1420.1 He fought in the Battle of Beaugé on 22 March 1420/21.1
