     Francis Sitwell was baptised on 18 January 1630/31.¹ He was the son of George Sitwell and Margaret Childers.² He married Catherine Sacheverel, daughter of Henry Sacheverell, in 1656.¹ He died in 1671.¹
     He lived at Renishaw, Derbyshire, England^G.¹ He had three other sons and three daughters (all died without issue or unmarried.)¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Derbyshire in 1671.¹

     Catherine Sacheverel is the daughter of Henry Sacheverell. She married Francis Sitwell, son of George Sitwell and Margaret Childers, in 1656.¹
     From 1656, her married name became Sitwell.

     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He had two younger sons (died unmarried) and two daughters (died without issue or unmarried.)¹ He lived at Renishaw, Derbyshire, England.¹ He was a Commissioner for the Lord-Lieutennatcy of London after 1689.¹

     Anne Kent is the daughter of Thomas Kent.¹ She married George Sitwell, son of Francis Sitwell and Catherine Sacheverel, on 20 May 1680.¹
     From 20 May 1680, her married name became Sitwell.
