Enrique IV, Rey de Castilla y León was born in 1425.1 He was the son of Juan II, Rey de Castilla y León and Maria de Aragón.1 He married, firstly, Blanche de Aragón, daughter of Juan II, Rey de Aragón y Navarre and Blanche II, Reina de Navarre, in 1440.1 He and Blanche de Aragón were divorced in 1453.1 He married, secondly, Joanna de Aviz, Princeza de Portugal, daughter of Duarte I de Aviz, Rei de Portugal and Eleanor de Aragón, in 1455.1 He died in 1474.1
Enrique IV, Rey de Castilla y León also went by the nick-name of Enrique ‘the Impotent’.3 He succeeded as the Rey Enrique IV de Castilla in 1454.1 He succeeded as the Rey Enrique IV de León in 1454.3
