     Lt.-Col. David Arthur Henry Silvertop was born on 10 January 1912 at Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Commander Arthur Edward Silvertop and Dorothy Dalgleish.1 He died on 25 September 1944 at age 32 at The Netherlands, killed in action.3
