Philip Austin Smyly and Augusta Amelia Dunn.^3,2 He married Charlotte Mary Emily Price, daughter of Sir John Frederick Price and Alice Phillips, on 17 October 1885 at St. Georges Cathedral, Chennai, India.^1,2 He died on 11 June 1945 at age 88 at Oak Bay, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the South Wales Borderers.¹

     Harriet Alice Franklin Price was the daughter of Sir John Frederick Price and Alice Phillips.² She married Major Leopold Alfred McClintock, son of Dr. Alfred Henry McClintock and Frances Cuppaidge, in 1892.¹ She died on 16 August 1963, leaving issue.¹
