Stuart Rendel, 1st Baron Rendel of Hatchlands was born on 2 July 1834 at Plymouth, Devon, EnglandG.3 He was the son of James Meadows Rendel and Catherine Jane Harris.1 He married Ellen Sophy Hubbard, daughter of William Egerton Hubbard and Louisa Ellen Baldock, on 1 October 1857 at Lower Beeding, Sussex, EnglandG.3 He died on 4 June 1913 at age 78.4
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1856 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3 He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1859 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He graduated in 1861 with a Barrister-at-Law.3 He was the President at University College of Wales, Aberystywth, Cardiganshire, WalesG.3 He was awarded the Officer, Order of the Crown of Italy.3 He was awarded the Knight, Order of King Charles XII of Spain.3 He was a member of Lord Armstrong’s engineering firm.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Montgomeryshire between 1880 and 1894.3 He was created 1st Baron Rendel of Hatchlands, co.
