Lady Emily Caroline Catherine Frances Cowper1 
Lady Emily Caroline Catherine Frances Cowper was born in 1810.2 She was the daughter of Peter Leopold Louis Francis Nassau Cowper, 5th Earl Cowper and Hon. Emily Mary Lamb.1 She married Anthony Ashley-Cooper, 7th Earl of Shaftesbury, son of Cropley Ashley-Cooper, 6th Earl of Shaftesbury and Lady Anne Spencer, on 10 June 1830.1 She died on 15 October 1872.3
Her married name became Ashley-Cooper. After her marriage, Lady Emily Caroline Catherine Frances Cowper was styled as Countess of Shaftesbury on 2 June 1851.
