S. McCarthy, on 31 October 1888.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret McCulloch, daughter of Robert Campbell McCulloch, on 22 December 1936.¹ He died on 24 June 1945 at age 81.²

     Alexander John Robert Stewart was born on 5 July 1827. He is the son of Alexander Robert Stewart and Lady Caroline Pratt. He married Lady Isabella Rebecca Graham-Toler, daughter of Hector John Graham-Toler, 2nd Earl of Norbury and Elizabeth Brabazon, on 17 May 1851.² He died on 30 July 1904 at age 77.²

Constance Mary Lubbock was the daughter of John Lubbock, 1st Baron Avebury and Ellen Frances Hordern.¹ She married Sydney Charles Buxton, 1st and last Earl Buxton, son of Charles Buxton and Emily Mary Holland, on 5 February 1882 at Orpington, Kent, England^G.² She died on 3 November 1892 at Cromer, Norfolk, England^G.^1,2 She was buried at Hatchford, England^G.²

     Michael FitzGerald Heathcoat Amory was born on 2 October 1941.¹ He was the son of Major Edgar Fitzgerald Heathcoat-Amory and Sonia Myrtle Denison.¹ He married, firstly, Harriet Mary Sheila Nye, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Archibald Edward Nye, on 29 June 1965.¹ He and Harriet Mary Sheila Nye were divorced in 1970.¹ He married, secondly, Sarah Arabella Marjorie von Hofmannsthal, daughter of Raimund von Hofmannsthal and Lady Elizabeth Hester Mary Paget, in 1975.² He died on 24 February 2016 at age 74 at London, England.³

     Amanda Mary Heathcoat-Amory was born posthumously on 4 December 1944.¹ She is the daughter of Major Edgar Fitzgerald Heathcoat-Amory and Sonia Myrtle Denison.² She married Simon Dallas Cairns, 6th Earl Cairns, son of Rear-Admiral David Charles Cairns, 5th Earl Cairns and Barbara Jeanne Harrisson Burgess, on 4 February 1964.¹
     From 4 February 1964, her married name became Cairns. After her marriage, Amanda Mary Heathcoat-Amory was styled as Countess Cairns in 1989.

     Patrick Gerald Heathcoat-Amory was born on 27 April 1912.¹ He was the son of Major Ludovic Heathcoat-Amory and Mary Stuart Bannatyne.¹ He died on 27 May 1942 at age 30 at Libya^G, killed in action.^1,2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1937 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 96th (Royal Devon Yeomanry) Field Brigade, Royal Artillery (TA.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Michael Ludovic Heathcoat-Amory was born on 19 May 1914.¹ He was the son of Major Ludovic Heathcoat-Amory and Mary Stuart Bannatyne.¹ He died on 7 June 1936 at age 22, killed in an aeroplane accident.¹
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 16th/5th Lancers.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹
