     Marian Diana Knox was born on 30 April 1797.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Vesey Knox and Catherine Anne Gisborne.² She married Reverend Richard Nugent Horner.¹ She died in 1884.³

     Jane Mercier was born in 1735.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Mercier.¹ She married James Spencer, son of Boyle Spencer.¹ She died in 1804.¹
     Her married name became Spencer.¹

     Anne Spencer was born in 1768.² She was the daughter of James Spencer and Jane Mercier.^3,2 She married Rt. Rev. Hon. William Knox, son of Thomas Knox, 1st Viscount Northland of Dungannon and Hon. Anne Vesey, on 10 September 1785.¹ She died on 13 November 1834.¹
     From 10 September 1785, her married name became Knox.

     Reverend James Spencer Knox was born on 26 April 1789.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. Hon. William Knox and Anne Spencer.² He married Clara Barbara Beresford, daughter of Rt. Hon. John Beresford, on 10 September 1813.¹ He died on 1 March 1862 at age 72.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He was the Rector at Maghera, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.¹
