Jessica Lucy Freeman-Mitford was born on 11 September 1917.1 She was the daughter of David Bertram Ogilvy Freeman-Mitford, 2nd Baron Redesdale and Sydney Bowles.1 She married, firstly, P/O Esmond Marcus David Romilly, son of Colonel Bertram Henry Samuel Romilly and Margaret Nelly Ogilvy Hozier, on 18 May 1937.1 She married, secondly, Robert Edward Treuhaft, son of Albin Treuhaft, on 8 June 1943.1 She died in 1996.3
Hon. Jessica Lucy Freeman-Mitford also went by the nick-name of Decca.4 From 18 May 1937, her married name became Romilly. In 1939 she went to the U.S. and became a communist (until 1958.)4 From 8 June 1943, her married name became Treuhaft.
