Ellinor Alice Napier was the daughter of Captain William John Napier, 9th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Eliza Cochrane-Johnstone.² She was also reported to have been married on 10 November 1853.¹ She married Hon. George Grey Dalrymple, son of North Hamilton Dalrymple, 9th Earl of Stair and Martha Willett Dalrymple, on 30 October 1853 at Bothwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland.³ She died on 11 May 1903.¹
     From 30 October 1853, her married name became Dalrymple.³

     Hon. George Grey Dalrymple was born on 22 May 1832.² He was the son of North Hamilton Dalrymple, 9th Earl of Stair and Martha Willett Dalrymple.² He married Hon. Ellinor Alice Napier, daughter of Captain William John Napier, 9th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Eliza Cochrane-Johnstone, on 30 October 1853 at Bothwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland.² He was also reported to have been married on 10 November 1853.¹ He died on 30 November 1900 at age 68.³
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Scots Guards.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lanarkshire.³ He lived at Elliston, St. Boswell’s, Lanarkshire, Scotland.³

     Belinda Maude was born in 1994.¹ She is the daughter of Nicholas John Eustace Maude and Alison Sword.¹

     Joan Bankes was born in 1898 at Epsom, Surrey, England.¹ She was the daughter of Jerome Nugent Bankes and Muriel Frances Wingfield-Digby.¹

     Anne Jane Charlotte Lockwood was the daughter of Robert Manners Lockwood and Hon. Julia Gore.^2,3 She married Francis Napier, 10th Lord Napier of Merchistoun, son of Captain William John Napier, 9th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Eliza Cochrane-Johnstone, on 2 September 1845.¹ She died on 24 August 1911.¹
     She was appointed Imperial Order of the Crown of India (C.I.)¹ From 2 September 1845, her married name became Napier.

     William John George Napier, 11th Lord Napier of Merchistoun was born on 22 September 1846.² He was the son of Francis Napier, 10th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Anne Jane Charlotte Lockwood.² He married, firstly, Harriet Blake Armstrong Lumb, daughter of Edward Lumb, on 5 January 1876.² He married, secondly, Grace Burns, daughter of James Cleland Burns, on 19 July 1898.² He died on 6 December 1913 at age 67.²
     He was Secretary of Legation, Stockholm between 1887 and 1888.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Selkirkshire.² He was Chargé d’Affaires, Tokyo between 1888 and 1891.² He succeeded as the 11th Lord Napier of Merchistoun [S., 1627] on 19 December 1898.² He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Scott, of Thirlestane [N.S., 1666] on 19 December 1898.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Ettrick of Ettrick, co. Selkirk [U.K., 1872] on 19 December 1898.²

     Mabel Sarah East was born in 1870 at Camberwell, Surrey, England.¹ She married Ralph Cudworth Romer, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Romer and Betty Lemon.¹ She died in 1955.¹
     Her married name became Romer.¹

     Mabel Sarah Romer was born in 1909 at Burstow, Surrey.¹ She is the daughter of Ralph Cudworth Romer and Mabel Sarah East.¹

     Elizabeth Dryden married James Dales in 1924 at Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England.¹
     From 1924, her married name became Dales.¹

     Lilias Dorothea Scott Napier is the daughter of Colonel Hon. John Scott Napier and Isabella Shaw.² She married Reginald Evan Wynne-Roberts, son of Major Reginald Wynn Wynne, on 18 October 1913.¹
     From 18 October 1913, her married name became Wynne-Roberts.
