     Alastair MacLeod, 6th of Raasay was born circa 1598.1 He was the son of Alexander MacLeod, 5th of Raasay and unknown daughter Macleod.2 He married Sibella Mackenzie, daughter of Roderick Mackenzie, 1st of Applecross and Finguala Mackenzie.1 He died in 1648.1
     On 20 August 1643 he was served heir to his father.1

     Roderick Mackenzie, 1st of Applecross is the son of Alexander Mackenzie of Coul and Annabella Mackenzie.2 He married Finguala Mackenzie, daughter of Murdoch Mackenzie, 2nd of Redcastle and Margaret Rose.1 He died in 1646.3

     John ‘Garbh’ MacLeod, 7th of Raasay was born circa 1625.1 He was the son of Alastair MacLeod, 6th of Raasay and Sibella Mackenzie.2 He married Janet MacLeod, daughter of Sir Roderick Macleod, 15th of MacLeod and Isabella Macdonald.1 He died in 1671, drowned in a storm on the North coast of Skye, in the Minch, without issue.1
     On 22 September 1648 he was served heir to his father.1
