Archibald Campbell, 2nd of Lochnell was born circa 1530 at Lochnell, Ardchattan, Argyllshire, Scotland.2 He was the son of John Campbell, 1st of Lochnell and Mary Campbell.2 He married, fourthly, Sibylla Drummond.3 He married, secondly, Janet MacLean.2 He married, thirdly, Jessie Keir Chain O’Donnell.2 He married, firstly, Janet Macdougall, daughter of Duncan ‘na mein’ Macdougall of Dunollie, circa 1560 at Dunollie, Argyllshire, Scotland.3,2 He died on 4 October 1594 at Glenlivet, Banffshire, Scotland, killed in action.2
