     Margaret Maclean is the daughter of Allan Maclean of Ardtornish.² She married Neil ‘Og’ Macneil, 16th of Barra, son of Roderick Macneil, 15th of Barra and unknown daughter Maclean.¹
     Her married name became Macneil.

     Gilleonan Macneil, 17th of Barra is the son of Neil ‘Og’ Macneil, 16th of Barra and Margaret Maclean.² He married Catherine Macdonald, daughter of John Macdonald, 13th of Clanranald and Moidart and Moire Macleod, in 1653.²
     He was received by Father Duggan into the Catholic church.¹
