     Marion Eleanor Bonthron Mitchell was the daughter of James Alexander Ralston Mitchell.¹ She married, secondly, Charles Glen MacAndrew, 1st Baron MacAndrew, son of Francis Glen MacAndrew and Elizabeth Muir Graham, on 2 February 1941.¹ She died in 1994.¹
     Her married name became Burrell.² From 2 February 1941, her married name became MacAndrew.¹ After her marriage, Marion Eleanor Bonthron Mitchell was styled as Baroness MacAndrew on 8 December 1959.

     Hon. David Malcolm McAlpine was born on 8 October 1946.¹ He is the son of Robert Edwin McAlpine, Baron McAlpine of Moffat and Ella Mary Gardner Garnett.² He married, firstly, Jennifer Anne Hodges, daughter of Eric Hodges, on 11 September 1971.¹ He and Jennifer Anne Hodges were divorced in 1993.¹ He married, secondly, Angharad Rees, daughter of William Linford Llewelyn Rees and Catherine Thomas, in 2005.³
