     Maj.-Gen. Fitz-John Winthrop was born in 1638.¹ He was the son of John Winthrop the younger and Elizabeth Reade.¹ He died in 1707.¹
     He was an agent in London for Connecticut between 1687 and 1693.¹ He held the office of Governor of Connecticut between 1696 and 1707.¹

     Archibald Campbell, 2nd of Shirvan is the son of Dougall Campbell, 1st of Shirvan and Isobel Campbell.¹ He married Jean Campbell, daughter of Sir James Campbell of Ardkinglass, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Campbell.¹

     Elizabeth Reade was born in 1615.¹ She married John Winthrop the younger, son of John Winthrop.¹ She died in 1672.¹
     Her married name became Winthrop.¹

     Alice Mary Lechmere was born circa 1861.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Edmund Anthony Harley Lechmere, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Katherine Haigh.² She died in December 1862, an infant.¹

     Katherine Mary Lechmere was born on 28 February 1875.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Edmund Anthony Harley Lechmere, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Katherine Haigh.² She died on 16 October 1961 at age 86, unmarried.¹

     Sir Christopher Anthony Leeds, 8th Bt. was born on 31 August 1935.¹ He was the son of Major Geoffrey Hugh Anthony Leeds and Yolande Thérèse Mitchell.² He married Elaine Joyce Mullins, daughter of S/Ldr. Cornelius Harold Albert Mullins, in 1974.¹ He and Elaine Joyce Mullins were divorced in 1981.¹ He died on 18 November 2009 at age 74.³
     He was educated at King’s School, Bruton, Somerset, England^G.¹ He graduated from London School of Economics, London, England, in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Econ.)¹ He graduated with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (P.G.C.E.)¹ He graduated from University of Southern California, California, U.S.A., in 1966 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was an assistant master between 1966 and 1968 at Merchant Taylors’ School, Northwood, London, England^G.¹ He was an assistant master between 1972 and 1975 at Christ’s Hospital, London, England^G.¹ He was an assistant master between 1978 and 1981 at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ He was a senior lecturer and associate professor between 1982 and 2000 at Université Nancy 2, Nancy, France.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Leeds, of Croxton Park, co. Cambridge [U.K., 1812] in 1983.² He lived in 2003 at 7 rue de Turique, Nancy, France^G.¹

     Elaine Joyce Mullins is the daughter of S/Ldr. Cornelius Harold Albert Mullins.² She married Sir Christopher Anthony Leeds, 8th Bt., son of Major Geoffrey Hugh Anthony Leeds and Yolande Thérèse Mitchell, in 1974.¹ She and Sir Christopher Anthony Leeds, 8th Bt. were divorced in 1981.¹
     From 1974, her married name became Leeds.

     William Sergeant was born in 1767.¹ He married Elizabeth Milne, daughter of Nathaniel Milne.¹ He died on 27 October 1834.¹
     He was a practising solicitor, with Sergeant and Milne.¹

     Reverend William Sanderson married Lilia Cresswell, daughter of William Cresswell.
     He lived at Morpeth, Northumberland, England.¹
